Orlando rodents: Many people use the term "rodent" to describe any kind of unwanted wildlife. In truth, rodents represent a specific branch of the animal taxonomy tree: the order rodentia, which includes the nuisance species rats, mice, and squirrels. However, other wildlife critters are often problems, such as raccoons, opossums, armadillos, and bats. These animals all belong to different orders, and none are rodents. This can include not only rats, but other Orlando rodents, such as mice. There isn't as much Orlando mouse extermination as there are rats, but mice do exist in FL. I also remove Orlando squirrels and Orlando raccoon from attics with the same care and expertise as I use for rats - find the entry holes, seal them shut, trap and remove the animals.

The type of attic you have depends on the type of home you have. Some people don't have true attics, their ceilings connecting to the roof by a layer of special insulation. Most homes have attics of some design. Attics offer a cushion of air to help insulate the home and offer a way to access wires and pipes without interfering with the aesthetics of the home interior. Most attics are unfinished, consisting of open beams and layers of insulation. Some lucky homeowners have attic floors to walk on, but many folks have to tread carefully to avoid coming through the ceiling. No matter what kind of attic you have, the space can be a haven for nuisance animals.
Attics are quiet, dark, and offer a place for animals to get out of the weather and away from predators. To keep your attic space free of critters, make sure the outside of your home is as secure as possible. Attics can be prone to invasion if the vents are damaged or if windows are not properly sealed and maintained. The exterior of the home is key to keeping your attic looking like an attic should.
